My name is Grant Vaughan. I started off learning the meaning of hard work on a ranch at age 14. I have always had interest in woodworking and building things. For my senior project in high-school I helped a local engineer design and construct a 50 foot bridge. At 18 I began training in the Army, and over the next 6 years of service I studied architectural design and drafting to learn about building sciences and construction. After the military I went to work for Anheuser-Busch in one of their distribution centers for 5 years, until I had the opportunity to work at a GluLam manufacturer in my town for over 6 years as quality control director.

When I am not working I love spending time with my family as well as hunting. I also enjoy making projects out of wood such as dining sets, duck calls, play structures and other things on my honey-do list. I have always had an eye for detail and a passion for construction. This led me to pursue my interests and begin learning about the specifics of the home inspection world. After studying, taking courses, and passing the tests and national exam I launched Axis Home Inspections. My aim is to provide a comprehensive inspection that is easy to read. As well as an open line of communication to answer any questions or concerns my clients have. This will in turn give them information to make educated decisions when purchasing and maintaining their home.
